We saved Zhenia Shablovskyi's heart ❤️

Zhenichka is a charming little boy, just 2.5 years old, from the Volyn region, city of Volodymyr‑Volynskyi. Zhenia was born with multiple congenital heart defects and, even at such a young age, has already undergone four surgeries: herniotomy, colostomy reversal, trans‑sagittal ano‑rectoplasty, and colostomy closure. The child now needs another operation to have a cardiac implant placed so his heart can beat with new strength, but Zhenia’s parents have no money for it. The donors of the Ukrainian Charity Exchange platform stepped in with swift help 🙏

In just a few days, a huge sum of almost 100 000 UAH was raised to purchase an implant. A large part of the funds was contributed by the company Multiplex, transferring 80 000 UAH ❤️ The rest of the needed amount was collected by 102 donors on the UBB website, for which we are infinitely grateful!!

Zhenichka met with representatives of Multiplex before being discharged home, and it was a very warm meeting! Zhenia is still very young; he may not remember what the people who saved his life look like, but Zhenia’s mother will forever remember her son’s rescuers.
