Angelina Novikova's heart has been saved ❤️

Angelina was born on December 16, 2013. Even during the pregnancy, the girl's mother learned of the child's diagnosis – type 1 common arterial trunk, high pulmonary hypertension – and in the first month of life the little one underwent her first heart surgery to correct the congenital heart defect and install a conduit. The operation was performed by specialists from the Amosov National Institute of Cardiovascular Surgery, and everything went successfully.

Angelina is now 10 years old, an active, cheerful, and sensitive girl. And for her to have a chance to live on, another heart surgery to replace the implant was needed. Its cost was unattainable for her mother, who raises three children on her own. Raising the sum of 300 000 UAH was out of reach.

Donors from the dobro.ua platform came to help. Through combined efforts and both small and large donations, the needed amount was raised, the implant was purchased, and the doctors were able to perform the surgery.
