Milana Bohdanova's heart saved ❤️

Milani is 4 years old, a kind, cheerful, and smart little girl. Milanochka was born prematurely, and already in the first days of life doctors detected a pathology in her heart. Since the defect was discovered, the family has always followed the doctors’ recommendations, and the girl undergoes regular examinations (once every three months). After the latest examination at the Amosov National Institute of Cardiovascular Surgery, specialists insisted on treating the defect by closing it with a cardiac implant (occluder), because the size of the hole was only increasing.

The family of internally displaced persons from Kharkiv is temporarily living in the Poltava region. They have lost their entire life, work, and home. There is also a child in the family who has health problems and needs costly treatment. Milana’s family simply could not raise the money on their own to purchase an implant. Fortunately, donors from dobro.ua stepped in, and within a few days the project to acquire a heart implant was completed.

Thanks to the doctors at the Amosov National Institute of Cardiovascular Surgery, everything went smoothly and now the little one feels well!
