Viktoriia Todosyuk's saved heart

Viktoria from the small village of Brailiv in the Vinnytsia region already faced a serious trial in 2022 – COVID‑19, which caused complications for her heart. Doctors discovered a defect in the interatrial septum. While it was only 3 mm at first, this year, as the girl grew, it has increased to as much as 9 mm.

The only chance for Vika was an emergency surgery to close her heart defect with an occluder. And it happened! The operation was successful – now a full, active life lies ahead for the girl.

This became possible thanks to the charitable initiative of the co‑owner of the Ukrainian cosmetics brand NATUREAL, who on her birthday asked friends, instead of gifts, to join a fundraiser for occluders for children. Dozens of people supported her idea, and today we celebrate the life of little Vika together.

"This year material wishes have lost their meaning for me. I am happy that together with you we were able to make this important gift," says the initiator of the fundraiser.
