Saved heart Milanija Stepan

Milania was born on 4 November 2017. It seemed like an ordinary start to life. But already after a month, on 7 December, doctors discovered a congenital heart defect in the girl. Since then, the Shtefaniv family has faced years of examinations, waiting, and constant tension. Every year – consultations, monitoring, hope that the condition would not worsen. Then came the moment when it became clear: without surgery it was impossible to go on. An implant was needed. The family needed funds they did not have.

Milania’s mother, Svitlana, and father Serhiy work officially, raise two children, and do everything possible. But even together their family budget couldn’t afford to pay for the purchase of the implant.
