Saved heart of Bohdan Kurei

Bohdanchyk is a very sincere, kind and sensitive boy. He loves animals, enjoys sports, and is especially passionate about football. From birth, Bohdan never complained of any heart pain and grew up as an ordinary child. Recently, after a football practice, Bohdan felt a sharp pain in his chest. His parents immediately consulted a cardiologist, who delivered a frightening diagnosis—a congenital heart defect, an open arterial duct. The opening in his heart measures 2.9 mm. The boy urgently needed surgery to correct the defect using a cardiac implant.

Bohdan's parents, besides him, are raising a little sister who is studying at college. The family's money is enough only for everyday life. There is no time or opportunity to gather a huge sum for an implant under wartime conditions. Moreover, the heating season is approaching, and the family can barely find money to cover household expenses and support two children. Yet the surgery cannot be postponed.
