Vladyslava Vekovyshcheva's heart has been saved

Vladyslav is 8 years old and lives with his mother without a father. Doctors diagnosed his congenital heart defect at birth, but there was hope that it would disappear with age as the hole in his heart closed on its own. Ongoing medical examinations showed that the defect would not heal by itself. After the latest appointment, doctors concluded that surgery needs to be performed right away. Otherwise, the defect will severely affect Vladyslav’s health in the future.

The single mother, who raises her son on her own, was unable to raise the funds for the heart implant her son so desperately needed. She also cannot turn to relatives for money, as she grew up in an orphanage and is an orphan herself. All her life she has relied only on herself.

Charity donors from the dobro.ua platform came to the rescue with a 71 charitable donation to Vladyslav’s project, making the operation possible. Almost half of the funds were transferred by our regular anonymous supporters – Ivan and Kateryna. For that we are grateful!
