Kyrylo Tarabanov's heart has been saved

Kyrylo is a very wanted and long‑awaited child. When he was still in his mother’s womb, his parents had to move from Luhansk because of the start of hostilities in the Donbas to his grandmother’s house in a village in the Bilovodskyi district of Luhansk region. Yet despite all the explosions of military actions that the parents heard, the boy was born healthy and was always very active and sporty. Kyrylo loves playing on the playground, riding a bicycle and a scooter, and running with other kids. But the heart that fell ill has taken away the child’s ability to take part in sports.

Kyryl’s diagnosis was severe – an aneurysm and a defect of the interventricular septum. Because of his diseased heart, the boy began experiencing neurological problems. The operation had to be performed urgently. But the parents did not have the funds to purchase a cardiac implant on their own.

Our regular donors came to the rescue – Makosh Company. The assistance provided allowed us to pay for the implant, and the doctors at the Amosov National Institute of Cardiovascular Surgery performed the corrective surgery.

Now Kyrylo has every chance to take up sports and feel great.
