In October of last year we told you the story of help from the well‑known German lawyer and philanthropist Franz Thomas Pfeifer and his wife Marina Savich. This wonderful couple from Germany donated expensive equipment for treating congenital heart defects to the Amosov National Institute of Cardiovascular Surgery for our little patients and provided 2 little beauties with implants for correcting congenital heart defects.

This time the couple decided not to stay idle and began looking for more ways to help our children. Marina organized a charity dinner with an auction in Germany, which raised 1 270 Euro – 38 000 UAH! These charitable funds helped save the heart of little Vladyslavochka Sushko from Kyiv, who urgently needed surgery to treat a congenital heart defect – an open arterial duct. The baby is almost 3 years old, and now that terrible diagnosis is in the past, and we believe a wonderful future awaits the little one!
