Regina Rengievych's heart has been saved ❤

The heart of little 2‑year‑old Reginochka from Kyiv was saved thanks to the socially responsible company Makosh Company.

The little girl was born with a congenital heart defect – a defect of the atrial septum. The opening in her heart was extremely life‑threatening. The operation had to be performed urgently. All other hospitals predicted an open‑heart surgery with a chest incision, because the defect was severely developed. But the doctors at the Amosov National Institute of Cardiovascular Surgery gave hope and would undertake an endovascular procedure without a chest incision, without a hard rehabilitation for the child, and without additional risks. The doctors perform the operation free of charge, but the family had to purchase an implant (occluder). The parents were unable to raise the huge sum needed for the cardiac implant in such a short time. Their only hope lay with donors.
