Our help is needed for a wonderful little boy named Dmytro, who has a congenital heart defect. The heart surgery that can correct the defect in the atrial septum is performed free of charge at the Amosov National Institute of Cardiovascular Surgery, but a cardiac implant must be purchased to help Dmytro’s heart beat with new strength. For the single mother who raises her son alone, an amount of over 98 thousand UAH is unaffordable. We appeal to all caring people: “Help save Dmytro’s heart!”

Dmytryk was born not only with a heart defect. The boy’s fate includes many severe diagnoses – cerebral palsy, spastic hemiparesis, epilepsy. The sick heart seriously affects his overall condition and hinders his life. Despite living in a village in Vinnytsia region, he has many friends. He is a very kind and open child. The boy’s main friend is his mother Tanya, who raises her son alone. His father left the family a long time ago and does not help at all. Dmytryk lives in the village of Poberizhne with his mother and grandmother. They are a very close‑knit family. Now Dmytryk needs surgery, and his friends and family do not know how to help him, because the cost of his treatment is 98 975 UAH, which is an astronomical sum for the family and loved ones. In the village such money cannot be earned, and help is needed right now.

That is why we are reaching out with a request to save the heart of a wonderful boy, whose fate has already been filled with many trials. This is the very moment when any caring person can share a piece of their heart and save a life!

As part of the charitable campaign of the restaurant Panna Pasticceria “Little Hearts Panna Pasticceria,” funds were also raised for the project to help Dmytro. The campaign is an opportunity to tell people about children’s problems. Many children are born with heart defects, but that does not mean their lives cannot be saved today. Thanks to experienced surgeons, endovascular treatment of heart defects can make a child’s life happy and healthy. The Panna Pasticceria team held a series of charity breakfasts at Panna Pasticceria (Kyiv) to save children’s lives together.
