The parents of this little girl hoped for a miracle, that her heart defect would disappear over time. But the miracle did not come, and 6‑year‑old Vika still lives with congenital heart defects – an open arterial duct and an open oval window. The doctors are on high alert, because they urgently need to treat them with an occluder and a coil, which the parents must purchase themselves. However, the price is prohibitively high for the family.

Vika is a very active and smart little girl; this year she is about to start first grade. But for that to happen, her heart defects need to be closed. Doctors recommend doing this before the child goes to school, because a sick heart will struggle with the workload. In addition to Vika, the family has another child, and the mother is on maternity leave. All financial matters have fallen on the father's shoulders, so there is simply no way to afford the expensive consumable materials. With their own efforts they have managed to raise 10 000 UAH, but there is still a long way to the total amount… The Mikhalʹskykh family is used to relying only on their own strength, but without your help they won’t be able to collect the full sum.
