Recently a very critical situation arose at the Amosov National Institute of Cardiovascular Surgery. A little girl, the little princess Babak Ilonochka, was admitted to the hospital with a congenital heart defect and the need for an urgent operation. It was necessary to make a decision extremely quickly about what to do, how to save the girl's life. Ilonochka's mother – an orphan who grew up in an orphanage, lives in social housing with the child, has no husband. The father simply has no interest in life. Purchasing an expensive implant for the single mother was simply impossible... And time was running out. Fortunately we are nearby, and alongside us are the most wonderful philanthropists in the world.

A decision was made to save the child without delay. Fortunately, our regular donor Anna stepped in to rescue the life of a beneficiary of our foundation. And all the stars aligned! The implant was purchased with Anna’s charitable funds, the operation was successfully performed by Dr. Bogdan Cherpak and his colleagues, and Ilonochka received a cardiac implant that corrected the defect and will allow her to live a full life. Now Ilonochka is healthy, and her mother can be at peace… her child is safe.
