Artemchyk Sandul’s rescued little heart ❤️ Pavel Kazarin celebrated his birthday and, instead of gifts, invited all his friends and acquaintances to launch a charity project that enabled the purchase of a heart implant and the operation on his heart.

Artem was born prematurely with a congenital heart defect—a secondary defect of the atrial septum. The boy developed normally for his age, growing into an active, cheerful, and restless child. Unfortunately, the hole in his heart never closed and constantly reminded everyone of its presence. Now Artem is 5 years old; he falls ill frequently and tires quickly. After another examination at the Amosov clinic, doctors reported that surgery is urgently needed. A heart defect is like a slow‑acting bomb—you never know what might happen to the heart next.

The Artemchyk family didn’t have the funds to purchase an expensive implant. With the help of all their relatives they managed to raise 20 thousand UAH. They asked caring people for the remaining amount.

Thanks to Pavlo and his friends, the birthday was especially beneficial ️. Yesterday Artemchyk had a successful operation thanks to the best doctors at the Amosov National Institute of Cardiovascular Surgery. Today the boy is still on bed rest, but that’s only until tomorrow. Tomorrow he will go home, where he will continue to live a true childhood life, full of adventure and joy.

Thank you Pavlo for saving another little Ukrainian's heart! This is the third year in a row that you celebrate your birthday while helping children. It's simply magical!
