Anyuta Naydyuk

Our help is needed for a little girl, Anyuta, who has a congenital heart defect. Anyutka was born with a defect in the atrial septum, and now there is a hole in her heart that prevents her from living a normal life. This defect must be corrected urgently, and it can be done with an implant (occluder) that will be placed directly in the heart. The operation at the Amosov National Institute of Cardiovascular Surgery will be performed free of charge, but the implant itself must be purchased, and the parents simply do not have the funds. Little Anyuta lives in the village of Stavok in the Volyn region together with her mother and father. The family is now expecting another child. Anyuta is 2 years old, and she is an incredibly wonderful girl—bright and kind. Because of her congenital heart defect she is constantly ill, feels poorly and cannot even play with other children. This is a huge trauma for her and her family. The heart problem was detected at birth, but the hope that the opening would close on its own proved false. Now time is running out. It is unknown when her condition will worsen further and emergency decisions will have to be made. Doctors strongly recommend surgery right now. But Anyuta’s parents simply have nowhere to get the money for the implant. Anyuta’s mother works as a nurse in a school. This job is very low‑paid. And Anyuta’s father works at a factory as a wire assembler. The family’s money is enough for food, and the heating season is still ahead. The parents do not refuse any work, which is already scarce in the village, but raising almost 100 000 UAH for a heart implant is an unbearable burden for them. That is why they are reaching out to everyone for help to save their daughter Anyuta.
