Wizz Air Kyiv City Marathon 2016

We, the members of the #SomnenieChallenge team, are training to take part in the October Wizz Air Kyiv City Marathon. Each day of our training will be filled with special meaning because we have a goal – to save children’s hearts. Every day in Ukraine, 12 children are born with heart defects. The lives of these children can be changed by an operation to install a cardiac implant.

This procedure is performed without a chest incision, without stopping the heart, and without deep anesthesia. In just three days, a healthy child can be discharged from the hospital.

This operation has only one drawback – its cost. For many families in Ukraine, such an operation is unaffordable. That’s why our goal is to raise funds to help these children. Run to live. We truly want to know that the heart we managed to repair together – with the team and you – will beat in the chest of a little one when they run their marathon. Let’s give life together.
