Today in Ukraine roughly 4,000 children are born with congenital heart defects, and sadly, this diagnosis often feels like a death sentence. It is especially heartbreaking when nearly 100 000 UAH is needed for a cardiac implant – an occluder – standing between a child’s rescue and their parents. For a typical Ukrainian family, such sums are overwhelming.

Company DeLaMark, together with the Future Hearts charity foundation and the informational support of Olha Romanyv, launched a project aimed at saving children with congenital heart defects.

The operation is free of charge and is performed exclusively at the Amosov National Institute of Cardiovascular Surgery by the best Ukrainian cardiac surgeons.

Unfortunately, state funding is not sufficient.
