Little hearts PANNA PASTICCERIA

In honor of International Day of Child Protection, the team of the restaurant Panna Pasticceria, led by Roman Romanchuk, launched a fundraising project for an occluder – a small device that will bring one more healthy heart.

Little Vika Pochevalova (11 months) urgently needed help; her heart defect (open arterial duct, open atrial septal defect and an abnormally placed chord) had to be corrected immediately. The entire restaurant team, Roman’s friends, and the donors of Ukrainian Charity Exchange took charge of raising funds for the implant ❤️

Restaurant customers bought “Dolcheza” desserts from June 1 to June 30 at Panna Pasticceria, and 50 % of each purchase was donated to the “Little Hearts Panna Pasticceria” project. Later, Roman’s friends organized charitable breakfasts. Thanks to Yaroslav Prygara and everyone who attended the breakfast on July 14, more than 300 donors on the ubb.org.ua platform raised the funds needed to buy an occluder for a girl.

And already today, after a successful operation at the Amosov National Institute of Cardiovascular Surgery, our little Vikusya is heading home! We are sincerely grateful to everyone who became part of this wonderful assistance project! Thank you to all who got involved and made so much effort so that her little heart beats with new, healthy strength.

But Panna Pasticceria decided not to rest on its laurels! And thanks to the charitable breakfasts, funds were raised to save the lives of two more children – Denys Lienkyi and Sashko Nechipurenko.
