Company «Lantmannen Ax» and «METRO Cash & Carry Ukraine» are saving hearts

Company “Lantmannen Ax” and “Metro Cash & Carry Ukraine” launch an annual joint charitable program “Hearts of the Future,” whose goal is to raise funds for purchasing implants to operate small patients of the Amosov National Institute of Cardiovascular Surgery, beneficiaries of our foundation.

The campaign will run from February 17 to March 16, 2020, in 25 METRO wholesale trade centers in 15 cities of Ukraine.

According to the program terms, from the price of each sold unit of dry breakfast TM “AHA” and “START!” in METRO stores, the company Lantmännen AXA together with “METRO Cash and Carry Ukraine” will transfer up to 5 UAH to our foundation’s account ️

Summary of the charity campaign

Despite the quarantine, the crisis, and all obstacles, our friends—Lantmannen AXA and Metro Cash & Carry Ukraine—tirelessly continue to save the lives of children with congenital heart defects. The charitable campaign from Lantmannen AXA launched almost at the start of the pandemic, and we were deeply concerned that everything would go smoothly for our donors, because there are many children who need urgent care.

Fortunately, everything worked out 😊 Everyone, both adults and children, loves Lantmannen AxA products, and the charitable funds collected from the sale of the dry breakfast from TM “AHA” and “START!” have been transferred to our charitable foundation.

Collected 290,000 UAH, and with this money 7 children with sick hearts have been saved!

Children from low‑income families received assistance, as their parents simply had no means to save the lives of their daughters and son.

All these children received qualified care from the country's top doctors at the Amosov National Institute of Cardiovascular Surgery. Now they are all feeling wonderful, and all health problems are behind them, as their hearts beat with new strength. We very much hope that in the future we will hear more stories about their successes ❤️
