Hearts Charity Evening 2019
Hearts Charity Evening – a charitable evening that has been supporting the development of endovascular medicine in Ukraine for four years and raising funds for endovascular operations for children with various degrees of heart defects. The mission of the charitable project is to ensure access to endovascular implants for all children with heart defects who need such an operation.
Four charity evenings have already been held. The total amount of funds raised is 11,190,772 UAH, and 92 children have been operated on over three years:
2016 – 510 410 UAH, 6 children;
2017 – 2,393,306 UAH, 32 children;
2018 – 4 183 566 UAH, 52 children.
In 2019, we raised 4,103,490 UAH and with these funds we plan to save almost 60 children with heart defects. Thanks to the dinner’s proceeds, we purchase cardiac implants and doctors at the Amosov National Institute of Cardiovascular Surgery perform operations on the hearts of children from low‑income families across the country ❤️
