Charity campaign “Hearts Charity Evenings”
Every year in Ukraine, 4 000 children are born with congenital heart defects. Their lives can be transformed by a heart operation that installs a cardiac implant (occluder). The occluder procedure—treatment of varying complexity for heart defects in both adults and children—requires no surgical intervention and offers a rapid, 100 % return to a full, normal life. In just 2–3 days, the little ones forget that their heart ever hurt.
YPO Kiev Chapter, in collaboration with an initiative group of businessmen, representatives of the Amosov National Institute of Cardiovascular Surgery, and the Ukrainian Charity Exchange, organized the charitable evening Hearts Charity Evening on December 6, 2017.
Collected 2 393 306 UAH for conducting occluder procedures in almost 30 little children with congenital heart defects. On this evening participants were able to enjoy informal communication, an exhibition – the sale of an exclusive collection of jewelry from the jewelry house of Roman Lazar, dinner, an auction, and a performance by the rock band S. K. A. Y.
