10th Wizz Air Kyiv City Marathon
The dynamic, brave and wonderful Ukrainian Charity Exchange team raised funds to purchase an occluder for Darynka Levenets from Sumy during the charitable Wizz Air Kyiv City Marathon.
Ukrainian Charity Exchange is the first and largest fundraising platform in Ukraine, offering a universal service for donors and for those who need assistance. Since its inception, the Exchange has implemented countless health, social, and cultural projects. Thanks to their reporting system, anyone can understand and track where every donated hryvnia has gone.
For the second time the Ukrainian Charity Exchange team ran the Marathon and raised funds to save a child with a congenital heart defect! We are infinitely grateful for this! The family of Dariochka Levenets could not have managed on their own, and they were forced to seek funds to save their daughter among caring people.
Fortunately, everything is falling into place in the best way and all the stars have aligned. The UBB team ran the Marathon, raised funds, the operation was successful, and already today the girls from the foundation came to meet Darynochka and her family ❤️

Sofia Olefirenko's heart has been saved ❤️
7-year-old Sofiika from Cherkas needed urgent help. The girl was born healthy, but she often got colds. Before starting school, during a medical examination, doctors suspected a heart disease in Sofiika, so they sent her for further examination – ultrasound. Doctors diagnosed a congenital heart defect – an atrial septal defect, and immediately advised to go to the Amosov National Institute of Cardiovascular Surgery in Kyiv. There the diagnosis was confirmed and they decided to close the defect using an intracardiac implant (occluder). However, the implant had to be purchased at the family's own expense, which was almost 100 000 UAH. For the young Olefirienko family this was an unaffordable sum. As always, Dobri Liudy came to the rescue
A powerful team of runners raised part of the funds for a heart implant during a charity marathon on the Ukrainian Charity Exchange website. And now the golden hands of our professional doctors at the Amosov Institute successfully performed the operation, and Sofiika has already been able to meet her rescuers ❤️
